The Supervisor is the Chief Executive Officer of the Town of Brighton, and is head of the administrative branch of town government. The Supervisor also serves as one of the five members of the Town Board and presides over all meetings of the Town Board.
Bridget Monroe, Assistant to the Supervisor
The Assistant to the Supervisor supports the Town Supervisor through such activities as managing Town Board meeting agendas, facilitating hybrid meetings, performing public outreach and arranging press conferences, writing press releases, managing the Town website, helping constituents, handling the Supervisor's calendar, and undertaking projects as directed.
Miriam Moore, Chief Diversity Officer
The Chief Diversity Officer works on strengthening Brighton’s identity as a community that embraces and celebrates people of all backgrounds and ensures that the Town of Brighton is purposeful in promoting diversity, equity and inclusion in Town policies and procedures, and in the broader Brighton community. This position staffs the Town's Inclusion, Diversity, Equity Advisory Board.
