Assistant to the Supervisor
The Assistant to the Supervisor provides support to the Town Supervisor including the following:
  • Plans, coordinates and implements public and community relations programs, services and events
  • Manages incoming media requests and builds relationships with industry journalists
  • Provides information to the public via news media and town communication avenues such as government information channel, web site and live community outreach
  • Communicates with other government entities as directed by the Town Supervisor
  • Arranges dedications, oath-taking ceremonies, news conferences, and other public relations type events
  • Serves as Community Liaison to manage incoming resident complaints concerning code violations and/or other Neighborhood quality of life issues and concerns
  • Manages Supervisor's schedule and itineraries
  • Manages Town Board meeting agendas
  • Attends Public Meetings and events on behalf of Supervisor when needed
