The Public Safety Committee meets regularly on the second Tuesday of the month at 8 a.m. in the lower level meeting room at Town Hall unless otherwise indicated on the approved schedule. While COVID-19 safety restrictions are still in effect, members of the public who wish to attend a Public Safety Committee meeting must contact the Office of the Supervisor in advance by calling 585-784-5252 to make an appointment to attend. All those attending will be health screened upon entry. Everyone in attendance must wear a mask and sit at least six feet apart.  See the schedule here.

Meeting Agendas

Committee members, agency representatives, and members of the public are welcome and encouraged to bring matters of public safety concern to the attention of the chair for inclusion on the monthly agenda. All such matters to be presented to the Public Safety Committee and related correspondence must be provided to the Chair or Staff by noon on the Thursday before the upcoming meeting for inclusion on the agenda. Community members who submit matters for the agenda are not required to be present when the matter is addressed, but are welcome to attend and participate in the discussion as their schedules allow.

Meeting agendas are posted by noon on the day prior to the scheduled meeting.  See agendas here.

Meeting Minutes

The Fire Marshal, staff to the Committee, takes minutes of all meetings. The minutes are provided to the Committee members for their review and approval. On approval, the minutes are provided to the Town Clerk as a matter of public record and posted online.  See minutes here.
