The Town Parks Department manages and maintains over 350 acres of parkland and open space for the benefit and enjoyment of its citizens and visitors alike. Please stop by and spend some time at our facilities – we know you’ll enjoy the experience.

General Park Rules and Regulations

Town Parks

  • Parks open at 7:00 am and close at 10:00 pm
  • No motor vehicles are allowed on any park trails
  • All pets must be leashed and cleaned up after
  • Alcohol is prohibited
  • Smoking/Vaping is prohibited in parks and facilities
  • Hunting is prohibited
  • Firearms or other dangerous weapons or instruments are prohibited 
  • Fishing is allowed, proper license required
    for those 16 yrs and older (catch and release is recommended)
  • Open fires are prohibited
  • No helium balloons in lodges
  • No Bounce Houses, Food Trucks, Tents on Park property without prior approval
  • Please do not feed the wildlife

Facility Rental Times and Fees subject to change throughout the year.

We need your help in keeping your Town Parks safe and in good condition. Please use garbage receptacles located throughout the parks to dispose of your trash. If you see damage at any of the facilities, please call the Recreation Office at (585) 784-5260.

Our Town Parks are monitored by the Brighton Police Department. If you have a park emergency, please dial 9-1-1.
