Wild Animal Registration

As of January 1, 2005 New York State requires that any wild animal be registered with the Town Clerk on or before April 1 of each year. A list of the animals that must be registered can be found at Wild Animal List or you can call us at 784-5240.

This legislation was enacted to assist emergency responders in protecting themselves, the neighbors and the property that harbors the animal without undue delay.
