Members of the Brighton Town Board to hold Workshop Re: Proposed Whole Foods Plaza Project

The Brighton Town Board will hold a workshop on the Whole Foods Plaza proposal on May 2 at 6:30pm, in the Auditorium at the Brighton Town Hall. The primary purpose of the workshop will be to give the Town Board the opportunity to view the Synchro traffic model simulation for the area, and to give the Board the opportunity to ask questions of the project sponsor and its traffic consultants about the simulation. The public is invited to attend and observe the workshop, but comments and questions from the public will not be taken at the workshop. The Workshop will also be live streamed on the Town of Brighton YouTube Channel which can be assessed through the Town’s website

The Town Board will hold a Public Hearing on the Supplemental Draft Environmental Impact State (SDEIS) for the proposed Whole Foods Plaza project on May 10, 2017 at 7:00 p.m., at which time the public is invited to comment on the SDEIS for the record.    In addition, the written comment period is now open for comments on the SDEIS. All written comments concerning the SDEIS that are received through 5 p.m. Monday May 22, 2017 will be included as part of the record of the May 10, 2017 Public Hearing.
